Job description

Studio 11 Design is seeking a Senior level Interior Designer. We are a hospitality design studio focusing on renovations and new builds for hotels, nightclubs, restaurants, multi-family and brand identity. We are located in Dallas, TX and are seeking a passionate designer who is looking to grow with a fast-growing firm.

Studio 11 Design is an award winning hospitality firm with projects around the globe. We are growing fast and looking to take on the best talent in the industry. This is a wonderful opportunity for creative, energetic and talented individuals with 5-10+ years’ experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Leadership overseeing all phases of design projects from initial client meetings through installation.
  • Develop and present design ideas to clients.
  • Oversee a team to ensure design solutions are highly creative, innovative, and functional while meeting clients’ needs and budget.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
  • Prepare detailed design plans, including floor plans, elevations, details, oversee 3D renderings and day to day production on specific projects to meet deadlines accurately.
  • Reviewing shop drawings, project submittals, etc. for document compliance; documenting code review and compliance; communicating and coordinating with management, clients, consultants and contractors related to daily business operations.
  • Guide, support, and manage designers, interior architects, and intern(s) duties to ensure accurate preparation of project documents and communication with and coordination of the preparation of documents with consultants, contractors and team members.
  • Travel for project meetings, site visits, installation and styling will require visiting city/clients as necessary.
  • Client relationship management building strong relationships with clients, understanding needs and preferences. Managing expectations and addressing concerns promptly ensuring client satisfaction through exceptional service and design solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of industry design trends, materials, and technology through attendance in industry events, trade shows and continuing education programs.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to assist with design team management with a collaborative leadership style which puts value on relationships, both internal and external as well as ensures high-quality design
  • Exceptional graphic presentation, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in presentations and in writing
  • Ability to develop and complete projects without continued direct supervision
  • Advanced knowledge of furniture, fixture and equipment (FF&E), architectural/interior finishes, lighting, art signage, color and materials to carryout design intent
  • Proven ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to clients
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in hi-rise, hospitality and multifamily projects required
  • Must have bachelor or master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • Ability to use Revit, Photoshop, In Design, AutoCAD, MS Office Products
  • Strong Organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines
  • Ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations and vendors
