About The Role

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for initial design steps and site analysis, including Programming, Feasibility Plans, and Test-fits.

You will collaborate with external design partners through Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Design, and Construction Administration to ensure the client's standards and desired aesthetic are maintained throughout the project.

This is a hybrid role requiring the candidate to report to the Pittsburgh, PA office at least 4 days per week.

What You’ll Do
  • Evaluate program fit for potential new sites with block plans or test-fits.
  • Lead interior fit-out development for multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Oversee product, material, and finish selections, including architectural finishes, lighting, and furniture.
  • Review architectural and furniture presentations to ensure adherence to standards and design intent.
  • Review construction documents for alignment with client standards.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Work within standardized procedures to meet objectives and deadlines.
  • Maintain high standards of design quality and creativity.
  • Adhere to design standards and best practices.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating behaviors aligned with company values.
What You’ll Need
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher, with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in commercial workplace design.
  • Current NCIDQ certification preferred.
  • Strong design, technical skills, and knowledge of building codes, safety, and ADA guidelines.
  • Excellent presentation, organizational, collaborative, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; Revit experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of CAFM systems is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with current design trends, materials, construction techniques, and furnishings.
  • Ability to report to Pittsburgh office at least four days a week.
