Job summary

DesignMinds is seeking a Senior Interior Designer/Project Design Lead to shape the firm’s growth by guiding complex projects from programming through installation. You will mentor junior designers, collaborate with executive leadership, and ensure design intent, documentation quality, budgets, and client satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on leadership, exceptional technical expertise in space planning, detailing, FF&E, and extensive Revit/BIM experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design/related field required.
• 8+ years of interior design experience with senior-level leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit on multifamily/commercial projects.
• BIM 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud experience in live project environments.
• Experience coordinating with architects and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects from programming through installation.
• Serve as primary design lead for assigned projects, managing schedules and client expectations.
• Partner with Design Directors to align with brand standards, budgets and objectives.
• Present design concepts, materials, finishes, and FF&E selections to clients.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and ownership groups.
• Travel to client meetings, project sites, and installations as required.
