Job summary

Structure Tone is seeking an experienced Estimator for commercial interiors in the New York City market. You will lead budgeting, bidding, and level-by-level pricing for interior projects, coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates and successful delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in estimating and purchasing, strong MS Office/Excel skills, and a willingness to report daily to our Manhattan office. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• BS, BA, or relevant construction experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in estimating, purchasing, and related duties.
• Requires excellent computer skills (MS Office/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage the estimating process on assigned projects totaling $5M - $100M per year.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior construction projects, including tenant fit-outs, and renovations.
• Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documents to identify scope, materials, and labor requirements.
• Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and scope coverage.
• Analyze project risks and opportunities, providing value engineering suggestions when appropriate.
