Job summary

David Carpenter Architect is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join the St Andrews or Glasgow office. You will lead high-quality residential, hospitality and commercial projects from concept to completion, combining creative vision with technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' professional interior design experience.
• Strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proven experience managing projects and client relationships.
• Strong technical drawing and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.

We are looking for an experienced and creatively driven Senior Interior Designer to join our St Andrews or Glasgow office.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented designer to take ownership of high-quality residential, hospitality and commercial projects from initial concept through to completion.

The successful candidate will combine strong creative ability with excellent technical knowledge and proven experience delivering projects to a high standard.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Is

• Experienced in leading interior design projects from concept through to completion.
• Confident working directly with clients, contractors, suppliers and wider consultant teams.
• Highly skilled in space planning, concept development and material selection.
• Comfortable producing detailed technical drawings.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• A strong communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about design, materials, craftsmanship and creating exceptional interiors.
• Able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative studio environment.

Key Requirements
