Job summary

David Carpenter Architect is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join the St Andrews or Glasgow office. You will lead high-quality residential, hospitality and commercial projects from concept to completion, combining creative vision with technical excellence.

You will work directly with clients, contractors, and the wider team to deliver exceptional interiors. The role requires strong space planning, material selection, and ability to produce detailed drawings, with a proactive,

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' professional interior design experience.
Strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proven experience managing projects and client relationships.
Strong technical drawing and documentation skills.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Lead interior design projects from concept through to completion.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, suppliers and wider consultant teams.
Produce detailed technical drawings and documentation.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
