Job summary

Eve Waldron Design is seeking a talented Mid-Senior Interior Architect to join our design-driven studio in a client-facing role across commercial, education, and residential projects.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of UK interior design/architecture experience, strong concept and CAD skills, and solid knowledge of UK building regulations. You will collaborate with consultants, contractors and clients to deliver high-quality interiors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years UK experience in interior design or interior architecture.
• Strong concept design, detailing and presentation skills.
• Excellent CAD proficiency and ability to produce coordinated drawing packages.
• Understanding of UK building regulations.
• Clear and professional communication in client and design team meetings.
• Ability to collaborate with consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Proactive, organized approach managing workload across multiple projects.
• Knowledge of furniture and finishes specification.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to concept, design development and technical stages.
• Prepare, manage and issue drawings, specifications, schedules, presentations and visuals.
• Manage and meet project programmes and deadlines, and seek internal approvals and feedback.
• Represent the studio in client and stakeholder meetings, keep minutes and project trackers.
• Work closely with the design team to deliver well-resolved, high-quality interiors.
• Participate in site visits, workshops and coordination meetings.
• Update case studies and content for social media.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 7 years’ UK experience in an interior design or interior architecture role
• Strong concept design, detailing and presentation skills
• Excellent CAD proficiency (Vectorworks/AutoCAD) and confidence producing coordinated drawing packages
• Understanding of UK building regulations
• Clear and professional communication skills, with experience participating in client and design team meetings
• Ability to work collaboratively with consultants, contractors and suppliers
• A proactive, organised approach and ability to manage workload across multiple projects
• Knowledgeable about furniture and finishes specification
