Job summary

UHY Advisors' Resource Solutions Group seeks experienced Controllers to support project-based, interim client engagements in Miami and throughout Florida. The Controller will lead the close, financial reporting, reconciliations, internal controls, and audit readiness, balancing hands‑on execution with client leadership.

Engagements vary by client and may be onsite, hybrid, or remote. This role requires senior accounting judgment, the ability to assess issues quickly, and effective coordination

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP for multi-entity environments.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Experience in consulting or professional services is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare US GAAP financial statements and management reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls and audit readiness.
• Support ERP implementations and remediation projects.
• Collaborate with CFOs and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Improve accounting workflows and transfer processes to client teams.
