Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking a Sr. Intelligence Planner to support a federal government client in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on space intelligence planning, integration into strategic and operational plans, and coordination with USSPACECOM J2 and partner agencies.

Required is TS/SCI with CI POLY or ability to obtain; the position offers growth through training, opportunity for career development, and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a related field or a bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of Senior experience as a substitute to the Master’s degree.
• Experience in Joint Intelligence Planning and Combatant Command/JIP processes.
• Security clearance: TS/SCI with CI–POLY or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Supports an intelligence planning team, ensuring space intelligence equities integration into strategic and operational-level military planning and/or execution.
• Provides status updates to USSPACECOM J2 and staff on JIP activities and intelligence support to campaign, contingency, and crisis planning.
• Documents intelligence resourcing gaps and shortfalls and develops mitigation strategies.
• Integrates intelligence products and services supporting the JPP.
• Synchronizes intelligence cycle supporting collection, analysis, production, and targeting in the JPP.
• Participates in red teaming and intelligence operations feasibility assessments within the planning process and provides recommendations to enhance intelligence planning enterprise.
• Facilitates coordination of space intelligence with interagency, intelligence community, and partner nations daily.

Job Requirements Description

Desired Experience

• 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Desired Education

• Master’s Degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education: or have a bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related Senior experience for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the master’s degree. Education and training will include previous experience in Joint Intelligence Planning. A Combatant Command, Joint Professional Military Education (Phase II) completion, and Joint Intelligence Planner Course (Phase I) completion are highly desired.
