Job summary

Cribl is hiring a Senior Integrations Engineer for a fully remote role. You will build components to connect Cribl's data stream processing with systems like Splunk, Elastic Search, Kafka, and major cloud storage services.

Expect deep-dive research, cross-functional collaboration, and a mix of development and testing to deliver robust software. The role emphasizes NodeJS and TypeScript, occasional C++, and participation in 24/7 on-call support.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating with third party applications, libraries, and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems.
• Experience with using and developing REST APIs.
• Experience interacting with and building on cloud based platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
• Experience with authorization and authentication standards such as Oauth2, OpenID Connect, LDAP and SAML is a plus.
• Comfort with extensive research and discovery before coding.
• Proven ability to build robust systems under uncertainty.
• Experience with Agile processes and rapid iterative development.
• Strong ownership with focus on high quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop features that integrate Cribl's data stream processing engine with data systems such as Splunk, Elastic Search, Kafka, AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage.
• Rapidly develop subject matter expertise in a diverse set of 3rd party technologies by provisioning, building, and configuring systems and accounts for R&D.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust code that delivers expected outcomes for customers.
• Develop expert level knowledge of software development using NodeJS and TypeScript (and sometimes C++).
• Ensure features work as expected by creating robust test plans and automated tests.
