Job summary

Mural is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for integrated workflows. You will design and implement two-way syncs with key systems of record, build integrations across the Microsoft ecosystem, and evolve our integration platform for cross-team usage.

You’ll own API stability, partner with teams on contracts and migrations, and drive end-to-end projects with a focus on security, performance, and reliability. AI tooling usage is encouraged as part of daily work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and shipping large-scale production software in agile teams.
• Fluent in modern JavaScript/TypeScript with React/Node.js exposure.
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs and platforms (OAuth, webhooks, rate limits).
• Experience designing and maintaining a public developer API.
• Proficiency in Python and secure file handling at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve two-way sync with systems of record (e.g., Jira, Linear, Asana).
• Design, build, and maintain integrations across Microsoft 365 and other platforms.
• Own the integration platform and API stability for external developers.
• Lead end-to-end projects from research to release and iteration.
• Collaborate across teams on contracts, rendering, notifications, and migrations.
• Ensure quality, performance, reliability, and security across integrations.
