Job summary

encora10 is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to design and deliver resilient end-to-end integrations that connect internal platforms with third-party systems. This hands-on, remote role focuses on API-driven and event-driven data movement, partnering with product and external teams to keep integrations reliable at scale.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of professional experience as a software engineer or integration engineer.
• Strong Python skills; Django is a plus.
• Solid experience designing and consuming REST APIs and webhooks.
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills for data-quality and consistency work.
• Practical experience with event-driven architectures and batch processing.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or comparable products.
• Advanced or fluent English, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design synchronization strategies spanning batch, event-driven, and real-time patterns to move data between systems.
• Define and evolve API contracts, data mappings, and transformation logic, including versioning and backward compatibility.
• Build integrations with idempotency, retries, ordering guarantees, and backfill support so pipelines recover cleanly from partial failures.
• Consume and publish REST APIs and webhooks while collaborating with internal engineering teams and external partners.
• Maintain data quality and consistency using SQL and PostgreSQL, and implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and broader observability practices.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality across the integration surface.

• Experience working with distributed systems and high-availability architectures.
