Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an Integration Engineer III to develop and manage complex integration solutions across multi-vendor platforms. You will work with API management, EDI, and data mapping while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with Boomi, MuleSoft, and Cloud services, and offers opportunities to leverage AI-enabled tooling to accelerate delivery. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with integration tools such as Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, Workato, Tibco, WebSphere.
• Previous experience in a consulting firm environment or relevant industry sectors.
• 3+ years' experience with AWS, Google Apigee or Azure Logic Apps.
• Strong understanding of integration design patterns, API protocols REST/SOAP, XML, JSON.
• Proficiency with core integration components including connectors, data mapping, and error handling.
• Strong proficiency in Groovy and JavaScript for complex logic.
• Experience with EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and EDI solutions.
• Strong SQL skills and database experience.
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies and governance.
• Integration certifications (Boomi, Workato, WebSphere, MuleSoft, etc.).
• One cloud platform certification (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Programming ability in Spring Boot, JavaScript or Python.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Integration Design & Architecture: design complex integration solutions following best practices and patterns.
• API Management: design, build, and manage REST/SOAP APIs.
• EDI Implementation & Management: configure and manage EDI processes and trading partners.
• Development & Deployment: implement integration processes across Test/UAT/Prod and manage SDLC.
• Troubleshooting & Support: monitor performance and provide post-deployment support.
• Documentation: create and maintain technical docs for designs and data maps.
• Collaboration & Best Practices: work with cross-functional teams to optimize data flows.
• Accountability: own integration projects and mentor junior team members.
• AI & Agentic Integration: leverage Boomi GPT, MuleSoft Vibes to accelerate development.
