Job summary

Deloitte US Consulting seeks an Integration Engineer III to design, build, and operate complex integration solutions using Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, and other tools. You will collaborate with internal consultants, near/offshore technologists, and vendors to drive API-led integration across geographies.

Responsibilities include API design, EDI management, SDLC governance, and documentation. Strong Groovy/JavaScript coding, cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure), and willingness to travel up to 50%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with multiple integration tools and products (Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, Workato, Tibco, Websphere).
• 3+ years' experience with AWS, Google Apigee or Azure Logic Apps.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration design patterns, API protocols (REST/SOAP), XML, JSON, and data mapping.
• Proficiency with core Integration components including connectors, process building, and robust error handling.
• Proficiency in Groovy and JavaScript code for complex logic and data manipulation.
• Experience with EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and EDI solutions.
• Experience with relational databases and strong SQL skills.
• Strong SDLC understanding and integration certifications (Boomi, Workato, WebSphere, MuleSoft).
• One cloud certification (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Spring Boot, JavaScript, Python).
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Design complex integration solutions using industry best practices and integration patterns.
• Design, build, and manage APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Implement and manage EDI processes (ANSI X12, EDIFACT).
• Develop, test, and deploy integration processes across environments.
• Monitor performance and provide post-deployment support.
• Create and maintain technical design and data-mapping docs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data flows.
• Own integration projects and mentor junior teammates.
• Leverage AI features to accelerate development and documentation.
