Job summary

Capital One seeks an Integration Engineer for the Global Payment Network to design, implement, and operate robust integration solutions across enterprise apps including Salesforce CRM and Google Cloud services. You will partner with architects to define standards and accelerate delivery in a high-volume, low-latency environment.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, mentor engineers, and stay ahead of tech trends while maintaining production readiness and incident response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years designing cross-platform or cloud integrations.
• 5+ years API-based integrations using scripting/orchestration tools.
• 4+ years automating system configuration or data workflows.
• 1+ year experience monitoring, observability and automated remediation.

Responsibilities

• Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
• Continuously improve software engineering practices across teams.
• Design, develop, test, implement and support technical solutions across a full stack of development tools.
• Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience and scalability of solutions.
• Mentor engineers and drive adoption of integration standards and patterns.
