Job summary

Medtronic, a global leader in healthcare technology, seeks a Senior Integration Engineer at the Rice Creek, Minnesota facility to onboard manufacturing equipment, machine vision systems, and OT connectivity into the AMI ecosystem. Travel is approximately 25% and most work is onsite four days a week.

The role emphasizes implementing reusable integration patterns, enabling AI-driven visual process monitoring, and collaborating with CV and platform engineers to scale deployments across sites.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 2+ years with an advanced degree.
• 2+ years deploying solutions across multiple manufacturing sites or environments.
• 2+ years collecting operational, process, machine-state, and image-based data from manufacturing assets.
• 1 year connecting OT systems to enterprise software platforms and data infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Onboard machines, vision systems, and processes into the AMI platform with site partners.
• Assess equipment to collect image data, process data, and context for AI-driven monitoring.
• Configure data collection, image workflows, metadata pipelines, and connectivity services for VPM deployments.
• Develop and support reusable integration patterns linking cameras, PLCs, MES, historians, and databases to AMI.
