Job summary

McKesson is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Integration Architect to lead the design and governance of Wellverse's Spring Boot integration layer and API strategies. You will guide teams across microservices, ensure security and reliability, and drive cloud-native deployment patterns.

The role requires deep Java/Spring expertise, experience with Apigee X/Edge, and mastery of Kafka ecosystems. You will collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to deliver scalable, compliant integrations across SaaS

Qualifications

12+ years in enterprise integration engineering, with 3+ years in architect/lead role.
Expert-level Java and Spring Boot engineering, including Spring Boot 3.x and Spring Security 6.x.
Experience designing and maintaining shared libraries or internal developer platforms for Java microservices.
Hands-on experience with Apigee X/Edge for API lifecycle management, policy enforcement, and developer portals.

Responsibilities

Design, maintain, and govern Wellverse’s Spring Boot integration starters and shared libraries.
Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance to application teams for high-performance microservices.
Conduct design and PR reviews to enforce security controls and architecture standards.
Define CI/CD standards for Spring Boot services using GitHub Actions, container scanning, and GKE deployment gates.
