Job summary

McKesson seeks a Senior Salesforce Developer to architect and build enterprise Salesforce solutions. You’ll work across declarative automation, LWC, Apex, and Java Spring Boot microservices, collaborating with product owners and leaders to deliver scalable, secure platforms.

You’ll lead design reviews, mentor engineers, drive DevOps practices, and continuously improve reliability and performance of mission-critical systems at McKesson.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and developing complex Salesforce applications.
• Advanced expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flow, and platform architecture.
• Strong experience building production-grade APIs/services with Java and Spring Boot.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce security, data architecture, governor limits, and integration patterns.
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable, fault-tolerant solutions with Git, testing, and CI/CD.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile, product-oriented teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade Salesforce applications using Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL, and Platform Events.
• Design and build scalable Java Spring Boot APIs and microservices that connect Salesforce with enterprise systems.
• Develop robust integrations using REST, SOAP and event-driven patterns.
• Balance declarative configuration with custom development for optimal outcomes.
• Lead technical design and code reviews and set architecture, security, testing, observability, and performance standards.
• Create reusable frameworks and patterns to improve productivity and maintainability.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate objectives into scalable solutions and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
• Mentor engineers through reviews, coaching, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
• Drive DevOps across source control, automated testing, CI/CD, and release management.
• Continuously improve platform reliability, scalability, and delivery velocity.
