Qualifications

• 12+ years of enterprise integration engineering experience, with at least 3 years in an architect or lead technical role.
• Java and Spring Boot mastery, including Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Security 6.x, REST API design, JPA/Hibernate, and custom starter development.
• Hands-on API management with Apigee X or Apigee Edge and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Apache Kafka or Google Managed Kafka, schema registry, and DLQ handling.
• Cloud and container experience with GCP services (GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL) and containerization.
• Experience in MFT configurations, trading partner workflows, and secure protocols (SFTP/AS2).

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and govern core Spring Boot integrations and shared libraries.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to application teams building microservices.
• Lead code reviews and enforce architectural standards and security controls.
• Define CI/CD standards and DevOps practices for Spring Boot services.
• Own API gateway strategy, policy enforcement, and developer portal management.
• Architect Kafka-based event streaming and MFT workflows across platforms.
