Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Integrated Water Resources Planner/Engineer for their Water Resources team. This role focuses on leadership and technical experience in integrated planning related to water supply and environmental restoration, requiring a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in environmental planning projects.

Responsibilities include planning and directing projects for federal clients, managing studies, and mentoring staff. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary range between $100,000 and $195,000 based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years technical and/or field experience in complex environmental planning projects.
• Experience with federal plan formulation requirements.
• Technical and/or field experience dealing with environmental impact issues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct medium‑to‑large‑size planning projects for the federal government.
• Prepare and analyze compliance documents.
• Direct team members in completing studies and reports.
• Ensure public participation and agency coordination.
• Perform other duties as needed.
