Job summary

Archer in San Jose, California seeks a Senior Program Quality Manager to own the quality plans for powertrain components across design, supplier quality, and manufacturing. You will drive regulatory compliance, validation, and continuous improvement to deliver a safe, high‑quality all‑electric aircraft.

You will oversee RCCA activities, align cross‑functional teams, and develop metrics to monitor performance across the Electric Propulsion Unit program, with a focus on GD&T and ASME Y14.5

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in program management in manufacturing aerospace or other highly regulated environments.
• Experience with design reviews, GD&T ASME Y14.5, SAP, and real-time dashboards using Sigma or similar programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop a high-level quality program plan for powertrain components and coordinate across groups.
• Align quality representatives with design and supply chain partners.
• Ensure the highest standards of product quality throughout the lifecycle of the aircraft.
• Oversee design validation, supplier deliverables, manufacturing processes, and regulatory compliance for a safe, reliable aircraft.
• Serve as single-point contact for all quality activities within electric propulsion.
• Coordinate and track quality priorities and risks across design, manufacturing, and flight testing.
• Develop metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement in the EPU program.
• Own the total quality plan of key parts including supplier, incoming, in-process, and EOL inspection plans.
• Oversee RCCA activities and support FAA/conformity inspection processes.
