Job summary

Lighthouse is seeking an Intake Specialist to work onsite in Bellevue, WA, handling advanced intake tasks such as archiving, purge requests, and data conversions. You will scope custom requests, log evidentiary media, and prepare reports with minimal supervision.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years handling sensitive data, experience in electronic discovery or related fields, and strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills. Competitive benefits and annual bonus eligible.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of forensic/data transfer tools (EnCase, FTK, BlackLight, FileZilla, Aid4Mail, Aspera) preferred.
• Familiarity with chain of custody procedures and data collection & preservation principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and both Windows and Mac OS environments.
• Must have strong attention to detail and organization with a positive, solution-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scoping of custom requests with other departments and provide accurate timelines for completion of work.
• Perform advanced pre-processing functions using forensic tools to search and/or cull data per client requests.
• Identify Mac OS data and perform advanced pre-processing tasks to properly handle Mac Mail files.
• Perform email conversion of Mac Mail to PST using commercial tools.
• Identify Gmail data types and perform email conversion using proprietary tools.
• Proactively identify areas for improved workflow, quality, internal documentation and processes.
• Assist with process improvements via testing and feedback.
• Maintain a positive team environment and support internal initiatives.
• Handle physical media while maintaining Chain of Custody, generate reports and conduct data backups, extraction/restoration, and pre-processing.
