Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years handling sensitive data, preferably in an electronic discovery environment.
• Experience in computer forensics, eDiscovery, information technology, or law firm litigation support preferred.
• Ability to learn new applications quickly and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of organization.
• Knowledge of chain of custody procedures and data preservation principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and both Windows and Mac OS environments.
• Must be able to complete work with a positive, solution-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scoping of custom requests with other departments and provide accurate timelines.
• Perform advanced pre-processing using forensic tools to search and cull data per client requests.
• Identify Mac OS data and perform advanced pre-processing tasks for Mac Mail files.
• Perform email conversion of Mac Mail to PST using commercial tools.
• Identify Gmail data types and perform email conversion using proprietary tools.
• Identify workflow improvements and contribute to documentation and processes.
• Assist with training and internal initiatives as needed.
• Maintain chain of custody, generate reports, and perform data backups and pre-processing.
