Lathrop GPM LLP is seeking a Senior Intake Analyst to support client and matter intake, including review of new business forms and conflicts checks. The role emphasizes risk management, compliance with professional conduct, and cross-office collaboration in a hybrid environment.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least three years in conflicts or intake within a law firm, with strong research, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in conflicts or new business intake in a law firm.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years’ related experience.
• Strong research and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform conflicts checks for new client, matter, and additional parties intake forms.
• Perform review and analysis of new representations as it relates to risk considerations and firm specific procedures.
• Research prospective clients and related parties using firm databases and web-based applications.
• Perform due diligence and credit checks on prospective clients.
• Conduct sanctions list screenings for prospective clients and parties involved in proposed representations.
• Process conflicts checks for lateral hire candidates.
• Process and manage correspondence related to intake forms including retrieving approvals for non-standard language.
• Other duties as assigned.
