Job summary

Lathrop GPM LLP in Minneapolis, MN (also Kansas City, MO and San Jose, CA) seeks an Intake Analyst to support client and matter intake by reviewing forms, performing conflicts checks, and analyzing risk to protect the firm.

You will collaborate with attorneys and staff to manage engagement letters, outside guidelines, and related correspondence, ensuring timely processing and compliance across a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years’ related experience.
• Strong research and analytical skills for due diligence and conflicts data.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication, including virtual environments.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to adapt to a changing work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform conflicts checks for new client and matters intake forms.
• Review representations for risk considerations and processing procedures.
• Conduct sanctions list screenings and due diligence on prospective clients.
• Process and manage correspondence related to intake forms and approvals.
• Track and follow up on outstanding requests and approvals.
