Job summary

Branch Financial, LLC is seeking an Insurance Financial Reporting Manager to own statutory financial reporting and NAIC filings across quarterly and annual cycles. You will collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Legal and Insurance teams to ensure data reliability, audit readiness, and regulatory alignment while scaling finance operations.

You will lead the annual statement process, coordinate schedules with cross-functional teams, and drive the internal control framework and audit readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; 8+ years of experience in property & casualty insurance finance or accounting, with statutory reporting at the core of that experience.
• Experience leading or coordinating a statutory audit, including the PBC process.
• Strong working knowledge of statutory financial reporting, controls, and insurance accounting.
• Experience with a holding company structure and consolidation up to a parent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct the preparation and delivery of statutory financial statements, including quarterly and annual NAIC filings.
• Own the annual statement end to end, including the statement pages and Schedules B, D, F and P, coordinating with accounting, actuarial and reinsurance teams.
• Lead the annual statutory audit, including owning the PBC list and coordinating information from other departments.
• Analyze month-over-month changes in financial outcomes and provide clear reporting to leadership with actuarial and reinsurance support.
• Document and maintain financial processes to support efficient and accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with Data Office to identify required controls and data availability for accurate financial reporting.
• Develop an internal control testing framework to support a growing audit function.
