Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Corporate Insurance and Risk Management professional to execute policy for insurance programs and reduce costs through effective risk retention strategies. The role interfaces with brokers, insurers, and internal teams across multiple locations to protect Exelon's assets.

The selected candidate will coordinate corporate insurance programs, analyze exposures, and support negotiations while ensuring compliance with regulations and company policy.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in risk management, insurance, accounting, finance, engineering or related field.
• Completion of CPCU or ARM preferred unless degree already covers risk management & insurance.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance or risk management.
• Strong analytical and evaluation skills.
• Knowledge of risk management principles and insurance markets.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating the corporate insurance program and manage risks through third-party and self-insured programs.
• Identify and evaluate corporate risk exposures and present recommendations to leadership.
• Coordinate specific corporate insurance programs with brokers and insurers.
• Support negotiation of coverages, review contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain relationships with brokers and insurers and act as a liaison.
