Job summary

Exelon is seeking a senior insurance and risk management professional to execute corporate policy for insurance and risk retention programs. You will interface with personnel, brokers and insurers to manage risk and control costs across multiple locations nationwide.

The role requires an undergraduate degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience, with CPCU/ARM preferred. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in risk management & insurance, accounting, finance, engineering, or related field.
• CPCU or ARM designation preferred (unless degree covers risk management).
• 5+ years experience in insurance or risk management.
• Demonstrated analytical and evaluation skills.
• Knowledge of risk management principles and insurance markets.
• Ability to analyze insurance decisions and their impact on Exelon and its subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating the corporate insurance program and the management of risks through third-party and self-insured programs.
• Identify and evaluate corporate risk exposures; make recommendations to Insurance Department Leadership.
• Coordinate corporate insurance programs and represent corporate interests with brokers and insurers.
• Support negotiation of specific insurance coverages, review contracts, administer policies, and ensure regulatory compliance.
