Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of commercial property and casualty underwriting experience.
• Strong multi-line commercial P&C knowledge with experience on small and large accounts.
• Experience with regulatory filings and governing bodies in insurance.
• Experience in implementing new product offerings into technology platforms.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret policy documents and financial information.
• Excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes underwriting trends, laws, regulations and best practices, and recommends actions.
• Develops admitted and non-admitted forms and rule manuals; coordinates rate development.
• Identifies improvement opportunities and advises management.
• Develops and presents training programs at Operating Unit and Enterprise levels.
• Provides expert guidance on regulated states and complex filings.
• Leads new market and product development across multiple lines.
