Job summary

Holmes Murphy & Associates in Dallas, TX is seeking a Sr. Placement Consultant to join our Property Casualty team. The role focuses on end-to-end placement of insurance for clients, renewal marketing, and collaboration with Sales and Service teams to deliver a high-quality client experience.

You will mentor Placement Specialists, coordinate assessments, and ensure compliance across agency systems, while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering timely solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience preferred in commercial agency or company underwriting performing insurance placement responsibilities.
• Ability to obtain state-specific license within three months of employment and maintain license in the state of residence.
• Insurance Designation (ARM, CPCU, CRM, etc.) required.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage daily client service tasks including renewal marketing and placement of insurance for assigned clients.
• Prepare and market new and renewal business with the designated sales team.
• Maintain an organized marketing file with accurate information to ensure smooth issuance.
• Provide timely, courteous answers and direction to sales, service teams, clients and underwriters.
• Compare requested coverage to quotes and note for negotiation with carriers.
• Schedule and lead client meetings; present turnover materials to service team.
• Set up new clients in AMS and input policy information for smooth transition.
• Provide answers and direction to questions from sales, service teams, prospects and underwriters.
• Request and monitor loss summary and experience mod forecast reports.
• Compare exposure schedules to quotes.
• Mentor Placement Specialists and Consultants.
• Coordinate ART Assessments and processes.
