Job summary

PM Hotel Group in Chevy Chase, MD seeks a Risk Manager to coordinate property and casualty insurance programs across its hotel portfolio. You will manage claims, renewals, certificates, and loss-prevention initiatives while serving as the primary liaison among hotel teams, owners, finance, legal, brokers, carriers, and other stakeholders.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and analytical skills to ensure compliance, timely information sharing, and accurate premium financing.

Responsibilities

• Claims management: Coordinate with hotels to identify and report all claims, monitor through resolution, and report status to carriers and stakeholders.
• Renewals: Coordinate with CFO and VP of Finance on renewal, update exposure workbooks, and provide materials to broker before renewal date.
• Document Review: Review contracts for insurance requirements and submit materials to broker in time.
• Owner Requests: Respond timely to hotel owner information requests.
• Hotel Requests: Respond timely to hotel information or assistance requests.
• Loss Prevention: Coordinate site visits, analyze claims data to identify risks, and develop loss-prevention tools for the portfolio.
• Certificates: Ensure certificates issued at each renewal and manage requests throughout the year.
• Portfolio Changes: Manage hotels joining/leaving the portfolio and coordinate exposure workbooks and quotes.
• Billing: Create and manage portfolio premium billings and allocate premiums across the portfolio.
• Audit Management: Manage annual workers' compensation audits and coordinate with broker for timely resolution.
• Payment Research: Verify payments are issued and recorded accurately; resolve discrepancies with broker or finance company.
• OSHA Filing: Manage OSHA filing requirements including annual online reports.
