Friedman Real Estate seeks an Insurance and Risk Manager to lead corporate insurance programs and oversee the enterprise risk management framework. You will coordinate with brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to protect assets and ensure coverage aligns with organizational objectives.

You will supervise the Insurance Coordinator and drive risk transfer strategies, business continuity, and resilience initiatives across a diverse real estate portfolio, including distressed assets.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, business administration, finance, or related field.
• Five or more years of progressive experience in corporate insurance, risk management, brokerage, or related discipline.
• Experience managing commercial insurance programs, claims management, and broker and carrier relationships.
• Experience leading enterprise risk management programs, assessments, or governance activities.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead all corporate insurance programs including property, liability, professional, workers' compensation, cyber, and other coverages.
• Manage renewals, underwriting, claims management, policy compliance, and coverage placement.
• Lead insurance evaluation and compliance for receivership engagements with court orders and lender requirements.
• Collaborate with the organization's insurance brokerage firm on placement, claims strategy, and risk assessments.
• Lead the enterprise risk management framework including incident reporting, risk identification, and governance.
