Job summary

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced insurance coverage attorney in the Legal-Litigation department to represent the company by providing coverage opinions on Commercial and Personal Insurance policies.

The pay range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 annually. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performances.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois law license required.
• Strong academic and professional credentials.
• Five or more years of litigation and trial experience.
• Jury trial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defend litigation cases involving auto liability, premises liability and other insurance matters through all phases of the legal process.
• Provide clear, effective, timely communication to clients regarding legal and factual developments.
• Partner with claims supervisors and stakeholders to align litigation strategy with business objectives.
