The Cincinnati Insurance Companies in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced insurance coverage attorney to join our Legal-Litigation department. You will represent the company by providing coverage opinions related to Commercial and Personal Insurance policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience providing formal written coverage opinions related to claims on commercial general liability insurance policies.
• experience as a trial attorney litigating coverage issues.

Responsibilities

• Draft, prepare and handle coverage opinion letters and coverage position letters on first- and third-party insurance files.
• Draft and respond to complex, dispositive motions.
• Conduct legal research competently and with proficiency;
• Prepare and take depositions and interviews of parties and experts.
• Review client documents, draft evaluations and status report correspondence; and,
• Assist with and participate in mediations and court appearances.

Our Legal-Litigation department is currently seeking an experienced insurance coverage attorney for our Chicago, Illinois territory to represent the company by providing coverage opinions relative to Commercial and Personal Insurance policies.

The pay range for this position is $130,000 - $180,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performances.
