Job summary

Cincinnatus LLC is hiring a senior insurance and actuarial domain expert to join a leading AI lab's GenAI workstream. You will craft instruction specs and golden solutions, review model outputs, and help define benchmarks to ensure real-world actuarial quality.

This is a full-time W-2 engagement with potential lab placement and on-site collaboration. The role requires 4+ years of specialized insurance experience, actuarial credentials or licensed status, and strong AI fluency for evaluating

Qualifications

• 4+ years of substantive insurance experience at a carrier, reinsurer, broker, adjusting firm, or regulator.
• Genuine specialization in at least one domain area (life, health, P&C, etc.).
• Clear progression to senior level with ownership of a portfolio or book.
• Hands-on use of large language models in professional work and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Data QA and reviews: Vet insurance knowledge work tasks and model outputs for accuracy.
• Write instruction specs and golden solutions for insurance and actuarial problems.
• Design challenging insurance tasks and evaluation benchmarks with the research team.
• Calibrate standards with clients to translate tacit judgment into explicit criteria.
