Job summary

Waters Corporation is seeking a manufacturing engineer to own and optimize the assigned production line, focusing on safety, delivery, quality, and cost. You will assemble, test, troubleshoot, and work with engineers to resolve complex issues across electromechanical systems.

The role requires an Associate degree in mechanical or electronics, robotics experience, and strong communication skills. On-site work in Sparks, with opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in mechanical or electronics or related field.
  • Robotics experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to test highly complex electromechanical instruments.
  • Clear verbal and written communication to support process engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the manufacturing process owner for assigned line(s) including Safety, Delivery, Quality and Cost.
  • Assembles, tests, and troubleshoots instrument production line; meet weekly production goals.
  • Train production associates on assembly and test procedures.
  • Work with Engineers to solve design and manufacturing challenges; implement improvements.
  • Perform feasibility tests and update procedures for lines; support QA and continuous improvement.
