Job summary

Waters seeks a skilled technician to own a manufacturing line, ensuring safety, delivery, quality and cost targets. The role involves assembling, testing and troubleshooting sophisticated instruments while collaborating with engineers to overcome manufacturing challenges.

The position requires an associate degree in mechanical or electronics and strong communication, teamwork and continuous improvement mindset. On-site presence is expected in Sparks, MD.

Qualifications

  • Two year Associates degree in mechanical or electronics or relevant degree. Robotics experience preferred.
  • Must demonstrate capability to test for highly complex electromechanical instruments.
  • Must communicate clearly through verbal and written communication to support process engineering team.
  • Proven ability to manage time across multiple production orders and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Own manufacturing process for assigned line(s) including Safety, Delivery, Quality and Cost.
  • Assembles, tests, and troubleshoots assigned instrument production line.
  • Train production associates on assembly and test procedures.
  • Work with Engineers to solve design and manufacturing challenges.
  • Follow GMP and BD quality standards and practices.
