Qualifications

• Experience in instrumentation, measurement, control, and troubleshooting.
• 5 years’ experience with calibration methodology, loop-checking, and advanced maintenance and repair of instrumentation.
• Familiar with automation, process control systems, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of schematics, P&ID drawings, and ISA symbols & numbering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, detail orientation, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and coordinate work activities to meet customer service needs.
• Trouble shoot across all site automation technologies.
• Perform calibrations and corrective actions on production, facility, and utility equipment.
• Maintain equipment through troubleshooting to ensure reliability and performance.
• Adjust, repair, and replace sensors, cables, connectors, control boards, etc., and analyze system configurations.
• Perform preventive, corrective, or emergency work orders and respond to service calls (off-shift and weekends).
• Review PLC or HMI logic during certifications or troubleshooting to understand deviations.
• Develop or update machine logic and test protocols under Engineering direction.
• Review calibration data sheets to ensure standards are within tolerances.
• Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and communicate results per SOP.
• Support RCA meetings to identify calibration and equipment issues; assist in FAT/SAT and related travel.
• Work independently or with Reliability and Engineers on projects to improve site standards.
