Open Scientific in Westbury, NY, seeks an experienced Calibration Technician for direct hire. Responsibilities include calibrating production, utility and lab equipment, troubleshooting control circuits, documenting activities, and coordinating with vendors.

Qualified candidates have at least a High School diploma, 1 year of mechanic/electrical experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. PLC experience is a plus, with shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Assumes an Associate's degree or higher in science/technology preferred.
• Minimum High School Diploma required.
• At least 1 year of mechanic & electrical experience or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Calibrate instrumentation for production, utility and lab equipment.
• Troubleshoot non-complex electrical and mechanical control circuits.
• Document calibration activities and tracking procedures (Infor).
• Coordinate with vendors for instrument installation and calibration.
• Assist with safe installation of control devices per procedures.
• Adhere to cGMP requirements and safety procedures.
• Support engineering projects for equipment installation.
