Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking an experienced Maintenance Instrumentation Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of site instrument equipment. You will support PLCs, DCS, thermocouples, RTDs, transmitters, valves, and related systems, while mentoring others and driving reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with instrumentation aptitude.
• Associates or higher degree in Instrumentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for personal safety and co-worker safety; maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
• Provide technical expertise to assist supervision and operations in installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and repair of instrumentation equipment (electronic and pneumatic).
• Review job scopes for completeness and order parts/tools to maximize efficiency.
• Mentor other instrument maintenance technicians when necessary.
