Job summary

KLA is seeking a Senior Engineer in Ann Arbor, Michigan to drive end-to-end software solutions for KLA inspection machines. You will understand the system, address critical customer gaps, and collaborate with distributed teams including hardware and service engineers to deliver robust software throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of OOP, design patterns, data structures and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in C++, Python or Java in production environments.
• Experience integrating subsystems and handling large data in ETL contexts.

Responsibilities

• Drive design, development, testing and rollout of software for KLA inspection machines.
• Develop software solutions addressing critical customer gaps or issues.
• Evaluate concepts and designs for next-generation systems and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with distributed teams, hardware and service engineers to meet requirements.
• Lead and mentor engineers through the product development cycle.
