Job summary

KLA's Semiconductor Products and Customers (Semi PC) unit seeks a Systems Engineering Manager in Ann Arbor to lead a team of hardware engineers and drive next-generation metrology tools. You will partner with multiple internal teams and customers worldwide to deliver reliable instrument performance.

Requirements include 10+ years in hardware development, a related degree (BS/MS), and proven people management. Up to 15% travel is expected to support global deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field; 6+ years with 2+ years in management.
• Experience with high vacuum systems and electron beam instruments.
• Excellent oral and written communication, organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed requirement specifications from performance requirements using systems engineering methodology.
• Develop and implement design improvements and next generation products.
• Apply systems engineering to optimize instrument performance.
• Lead team to develop and test design improvements and validation.
• Coordinate with service, manufacturing and marketing to optimize performance.
