Job summary

Bell in Fort Worth, TX, seeks an Electrical Engineer for the Instrumentation Lab to test and validate systems and components for structural qualification across programs. You will configure sensors, acquire data with various DAQ systems, and collaborate with engineers and technicians to drive data-driven improvements.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, cross-program support, and contributing to the development of next-generation aircraft systems in a dynamic onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar with emphasis on electrical concepts.
• Minimum 2 years of professional engineering experience involving testing or data acquisition.
• Familiarity with configuring sensors such as thermocouples, strain gauges, accelerometers, and LVDTs preferred.
• LabVIEW or CAD applications (AutoCAD) experience preferred.
• Strong communication to manage relationships with engineers and technicians and keep projects on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Test and validate systems and components for structural qualification.
• Collaborate with programs to execute tests ensuring current and future products meet functions.
• Set up testing and data capture from diverse sensors and Data Acquisition systems (fatigue, static, wind tunnel, ballistic, etc.).
• Partner with engineers and technicians to test next-generation aircraft systems.
