Job summary

Bell is seeking an Avionics Software Engineer to develop, modify, test, and document embedded software for avionics systems at our Fort Worth, TX site. You will work across the software lifecycle, tracing requirements to tests and integrating with hardware in a Linux environment using C/C++/C#.

Candidate should have a bachelor’s in engineering, 2+ years in avionics, and familiarity with DO-178B, LDRA, and VectorCAST, plus strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 2 years aviation experience in Avionics Platform Systems Integration or Avionics Hardware Design & Integration.
• Experience with embedded software development in Linux environments using C, C++, and C#.
• Familiarity with DO-178B and CMMI Level 3 processes.
• Experience with LDRA/VectorCAST and version control (Git).
