Job summary

Tata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC is seeking an Instrumentation Engineer to apply engineering principles in instrumentation and control for projects in the energy and chemicals sectors. The role involves developing specifications, calculations, and procurement support while maintaining safety and quality on site.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of instrumentation experience, an EIT or PE qualification preferred, and a BS in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in instrumentation and control systems.
• EIT preferred; PE license or ability to obtain preferred.
• BS in Engineering (ABET-accredited) or higher.

Responsibilities

• Prepares basic to advanced specifications detailing performance requirements and design components.
• Develops instrumentation design calculations and packages.
• Travel to client sites to evaluate project scope and conditions.
• Assists in procurement, bid evaluation and vendor drawings review.
• Supports field assignments and ensures adherence to safety and quality standards.
