Job summary

LSB Industries, Inc. is seeking an Instrument Engineer in Oklahoma City to design, specify, procure, and oversee installation of instrumentation and control field devices, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operation of the plant.

You will provide technical guidance on capital projects, support instrument sizing, FAT/SAT, calibration, and data management, while mentoring I&C staff and coordinating with Process, Electrical, Mechanical teams.

Qualifications

• Lead or support instrumentation design and engineering activities.
• Review instrument data sheets, specifications, and procurement requisitions.
• Participate in HAZOP, LOPA, and SIS related analyses.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support the development of detailed engineering designs for instrumentation systems, including P&IDs and instrument specifications.
• Review vendor drawings, datasheets, and documentation for compliance with project requirements.
• Participate in FATs and SATs for instrument packages and control systems.
