Job summary

Cb&I Llc. is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer to define instrumentation applications, develop specs, and manage vendor documents for storage solutions terminal projects.

The role requires independent work, collaboration with multiple engineering disciplines, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include producing deliverables per codes, reviewing vendor documents, coordinating interfaces, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical discipline.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce deliverables per design codes, standards, and customer drawings.
• Review and check design calculations, specifications, and vendor documents.
• Coordinate interfaces between disciplines and vendors to ensure correct hardware and wiring.
• Forecast task durations and commit to definitive deadlines.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and share knowledge across the team.
• May obtain professional engineering license and stamp project deliverables as needed.
