Job summary

Archrock is seeking an Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) Technician to install, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical systems across industrial settings. You will read drawings, scope wiring, and maintain equipment to ensure safe, accurate readings and control.

The role involves collaboration with engineers and operators to optimize control loops and process performance, while adhering to safety protocols and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, or related field.
• Journeyman electrician licensure is required.
• Experience installing, calibrating, and troubleshooting instrumentation and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, Calibrate, and configure instrumentation devices such as sensors, transmitters, controllers, and meters.
• Set up and wire electrical components, panels, and control systems according to engineering specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and testing of instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and operators to optimize control systems performance and accuracy.
• Provide training and support to operations and maintenance personnel.
