Job summary

Vantage in Chicago, IL seeks an Instrumentation & Electrical Technical Leader to prioritize safety and maintain 24/7 production. You will supervise the maintenance crew, troubleshoot and repair plant instrumentation and electrical systems, and work with planners to optimize maintenance and reliability across facilities.

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on experience in a continuous process or chemical plant focusing on preventive maintenance and instrumentation/control problems.
Experience certifying plant instruments following ISO guidelines.
Knowledge of safety-critical systems and maintenance budgeting.

Responsibilities

Perform instrumentation, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic repairs and preventive maintenance of production equipment.
Ensure production operations are maintained cost-effectively and safely.
Lead and develop an 11-person maintenance crew and 5 boiler operators.
Coordinate with planners to prioritize work orders and manage overtime.
