Job summary

Addison Group is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for an industrial facility in Morris, IL. The role focuses on instrumentation and electrical maintenance within a demanding, 24/7 environment.

The candidate should have 3-5+ years of related experience, be capable of troubleshooting and calibrating control loops, and be comfortable reading drawings and handling on-call duties. On-site work with strict safety procedures is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of instrumentation and electrical maintenance experience, preferably in chemical manufacturing or related industrial environment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, tune, install, and maintain instrumentation and control loops.
• Troubleshoot and maintain plant electrical equipment in a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
• Maintain equipment including pumps, agitators, fans, blowers, vessels, filters, piping systems, and related components.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, electrical checks, equipment repairs, and component replacements.
• Read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings, diagrams, schematics, manufacturer documentation, and technical instructions.
• Complete maintenance work orders, equipment records, and required documentation using SAP.
• Support equipment installations, modifications, evaluations, alignment, and new equipment selection.
• Follow plant EHS procedures, including PPE, confined space, hot work, fall protection, incident investigations, and emergency response requirements.
